America Wins FIFA World Cup !
Fox News anchors call victory for United States in International soccer championships.
"It was a close battle, but this is a great day for our nation!"

After a close win against Ghana that brought the US into the second round, it was "a gravy train for Team America", says Fox Sports anchor Jamie Trecker. The United States swept all opposition aside to take victory over Brazil 15-0.
The result, according to Trecker, vindicates the White House's decision to send a team to Germany. "It was a courageous action," he said. "It would have been easier to cut and run like the nay-sayers and the Democrats wanted, but American values and abilities have triumphed over foreigners once again. And soccer is better for it."
The triumph in Germany has been heralded by president Bush, whom many Republicans are already comparing to Roosevelt as a great leader in the European Theatre.

The Americans took a commanding lead with a touchdown early in the first half, then took advantage of their opponent's confusion over the recent rule changes to score two goals. A field goal early in the second half clinched the deal.
The U.S. team acknowledged a debt to their government's unflagging support. The CIA provided in-depth scouting reports on Brazil's strategy gleaned from phone calls. The Brazilian team appeared haggard from a night spent in the streets after their bank accounts were frozen. Pre-game aerial bombardments softened up the Brazilian defense.
