Brainsnap expansion plans on hold pending FCC-regulation ruling
Philadelphia, PA - Brainsnap News Daily regrets to inform its readers that the company is re-evaluating its planned acquisition of radio and television stations following a Federal court ruling last week against relaxed media restrictions.
The Appeals Court of Philadelphia ruled that the proposals, developed by the FCC, must be reconsidered. The new regulations would have allowed a company to own three television stations, several radio stations and a newspaper or two in major shopping outlets.
Brainsnap lawyers are investigating the impact of the court's decision on plans to acquire a radio station and invest in a television station. The editors decry the Government's irrational resistance to free markets.
In a recent press release, the Chief-Editor? of Brainsnap News announced that he was disappointed with the court's decision.
"Good reporting and good broadcasting should be rewarded with increased market share."

Brainsnap is dedicated to providing the best quality news to its customers. The company is continuing its negotiations into bringing its services to 92 million AOL customers.
